What is the Texas Cardinals, Inc.?

The Texas Cardinals, Inc., was charted May 6, 1996, by the Grand Chapter of Texas, Order of the Eastern Star.

Purpose

To promote, stimulate and inspire enthusiasm for the people and projects of both the Texas Grand Chapter and the world-wide General Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

To provide a resource of talented, skilled, and committed workers for the General Grand Chapter officers and committee members.

To assist the Texas Grand Chapter in coordinating efforts for the General Grand Chapter.

To provide continuity and financial support for the planning of the General Grand Chapter Triennial Assembly to be held in Texas in 2012.

To provide members an opportunity to obtain a better understanding of the goals of the General Grand Chapter which is International.

Goals

Our goals include participation in the General Grand Chapter Triennial Assemblies to be held in Minnesota in 2006 and Tulsa, OK, in 2009.

Our ultimate goal is to successfully prepare for and have sufficient funds to hold a General Grand Chapter Triennial Assembly in Ft. Worth, Texas, during 2012 without a Texas membership assessment.
